Sigma Phi Epsilon, known as SigEp, is building a new chapter at the University of Virginia this year! SigEps believe that when the right people are together in the right environment, Fraternity can be a transformative experience, and, starting this fall, we are building a community of talented and driven students who are committed to creating a healthy and impactful fraternity experience at UVA. 

SigEp was founded on the promise of, “This fraternity will be different,” and today, we bring that to life by challenging the status quo and providing an unmatched fraternity experience in which members are brothers with equal rights and responsibilities from the moment they accept an invitation to join an environment devoid of pledging and hazing. We surround each other in a culture of continuous development where brothers, regardless of their year in school or tenure in the Fraternity, challenge each other to grow and develop healthy habits that are essential to lifelong learning and the ongoing pursuit of becoming the best versions of themselves. We are redefining fraternity nationwide and hold our chapters and members to a high standard.

To ensure a successful return to UVA, we committed to the following:

• Recruiting students who are passionate about their growth and driven to challenge the status quo. 
• Training and mentoring members to provide the SigEp experience. 
• Communicating regularly and transparently with UVA’s Fraternity and Sorority Life office regarding the chapter’s growth and its members’ development.
• Engaging university faculty and staff in student development opportunities in a substance-free learning community. 

Throughout this academic year, I will be recruiting male students who are passionate about their growth and seek to belong to a community where people challenge and support each other to continuously pursue academic excellence, leadership growth, professional and personal development, and health and wellness habits. Our priority is to create a new and positive fraternity experience at UVA. I will lead recruitment and launch the inaugural SigEp Balanced Man Scholarship, to which male undergraduate students can apply here. SigEp Headquarters and our volunteers look forward to working closely with campus partners to ensure a successful return to the UVA community.
